Jamie Cullum fans? anyone help

I have a prob Im a big Jamie cullum fan and on his first alb is a song called" it aint neccessarily so "and the lyrics in the song show a point of view on the bible and that it should be taken with a pinch of salt. As a Christian is this offensive? Should I stop listening to him from now on or respect his view?

if ya like & listen to heathen music (as I do) you have to take what they say with a grain of salt.

One time, at a funeral for an in law that my pastor kindly came to, a bumbling uncle of my hubby's started telling him (the pastor) about the time he (the bumbling uncle) & the deceased were getting drunk at a whorehouse.

My hubby was about dead of embarrassment, falling all over himself apologizing to the pastor for being related to such a moron, & my most excellent pastor kinda just chuckled & said it wasn't a big deal, heathens act & talk like heathens.

Same applies to music, I'm convinced. If it's spiritually bad for you to listen to it, then stop. if it's ridiculously transparent & you know better, than know heathens write & sing like heathens & ignore it.
