Good choice. Because a kiss can lead to more serious things that can have a more lasting damage on your relationship with someone.

that's what I decided to do about a year ago.

the way I see it... if I was married I wouldn't kiss a person who wasn't my wife, so why would I kiss a person who wasn't my wife ever?

I speak, because I didn't wait. I now have the brokenness of knowing I didn't wait for who God would provide, and now, I won't have the joy of my first kiss being the woman who I marry. I entered into sin, and now, I have to tell my wife when I get married (or before), all that I did, all that I took from my wife, instead of saving it for her.

I think it's a good way to make sure your first kiss will be good and something to wait for. I admire you for your choice, and hope that it will last. Just don't make a too big deal out of it unless you want to be reminded of it too often - some people won't be able to understand. [I sometimes wish I'd made this desicion as well, but now it's sort of too late...]

I would have to agree with you, I haven't been in your shoes before but I know other people who have been. My goal is to the same as turtlegurl. Also my advice is for people to listen to you because it's better to listen to others from their experiences or mistakes and to learn from them. Hoping that listening to them will help us out and keep us from making the same mistake.

It's fine for some people but definitely not fine for me. Besides it would make me feel better if my wife had kissed quite a lot. It would me feel special that she chose my lips over all those other lips.
