In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Did we do this last year? I should find my prediction & see how off I was
yes! I guessed late last time, but I was wrong....
but I had her weight exactly correct to the ounce, and I think the height was an inch off
Oh, hoping for early! Me too! Who wouldn't anyhow.
Well I've had two babies... one at 38 weeks 2 days and one at 38 weeks 3 days by ovulation date.... May 20th is 38 weeks and 3 days ... so that's why I picked it .... last time I thought I would go late because I got so lucky going early first time, but this time I'd be surprised to go late... I am *trying* to gear myself up for the long wait, but I can't convince myself

Well I am going to guess that I will go late, probably a week which would make it about the 24th.
Although I am feeling a bit wierd, becuase the 26th is the anniversary of my mother.......
As for weight he will be about 7lb and about 18 inches, going by my last delivery, I will have a nice sized baby who is probably a little on the short side (I prefer the word "petite")

So I guessed February 20, but she was born February 16... she was 7lb 1oz and 18 inches, and my labor was about 5 hours.

I was way off on my last prediction. The only thing I was close on was my delivery date, oh and I was right he was a boy but I had a 50/50 chance of being right LOL Here was my prediction:

Early/late: Born on due date 6/2
Weight: 8lbs 9oz (please be smaller than the last baby!!!!)
Height: 20 in
Length of labor: 6hrs (from time I check into birthing center to delivery). I'm sure my hubby is going to have me at the birthing center at the very first sign of anything going on LOL He did not appreciate having to speed to the birthing center last time LOL
He ended up being one day late (9/17) but was 9lbs 12oz, 21.75 in long and labor was only 17 MINUTES from the time we got to the birthing center until delivery.

I was right for the height
He weighed six pounds and twelve ounce, born on October 22. My labor was 14 hours.

I'm guessing my baby will be born Nov. 4th (i've had 3 c-sections and they usually schedule them one week prior to due day) and that he's a boy, and that he'll be 7lb 9 oz ( I have 8 lb 12 oz babies at term) and 21 1.5 inches long. All my babes are about that long.
