• The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.

    If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.

    If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. Yestarday at night i blasphemed the Holy Spirit . Didn't speak against him but i got intrusive thoughts so scary. And i feel it's over for me. I'm going to hell
I was born to be miserable . I feel lost My OCD makes me driving crazy.

The intrusive thoughts are put by spirits, you have nothing to do with that, you may need deliverance.
And i don't speak because the air is free only, i had intrusive thoughts, that made think scary stuff, they went away with deliverance, never returned.
Maybe you can find someone that could help.

I had just that fear for a while shortly after salvation.
I'd lay awake, afraid to go to sleep, because the evil one told me he could easily cause me to say something in my sleep would send me to hell.
Pruning can be painful, but it looks to me like we all get pruned.
Why else would anyone prune any tree or vine but to make it bigger, stronger, able to bear more fruit.
Tell the devil that Jesus Christ lives within you and to keep his hands off of what belongs to God.

I know how you feel. But OCD lies to us. It tells us that we mean to have intrusive thoughts. It makes us feel condemned. But Jesus has grace for us. He loves you so much. He is more powerful than your thoughts.

Big secret... we all have intrusive thoughts that are not our own. It's the Accuser's favorite pastime - to credit our spiritual selves with what the flesh wants us to make us believe is our 'true selves'.

Why else are we told to take every thought captive to the obedience of Jesus Christ?

Just remember, Jesus didn't rebuke Peter because He was Satan himself, but because his stinking thinking was inspired by Satan.

Peter was certainly delivered, and so are we. Stand firmly on who JESUS says you are! Ask Him as often as you have need to confirm and He will personally - as only Jesus can - as He knows you like no other.

Gotta stay in His Word and prayer every single day to recognize His voice.
