How was the only begotten Son of YHWH's name pronounced by all those who knew Him personally when he sojourned on the earth. We can certainly agree that no one ever called Him "Jesus" while He walked here, so what did they call Him ? I ask because the Holy Scriptures teach "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." and I think it a good idea to use that ONE name rather than any other name or any a.k.a. (also known as) or translations of the Messiah's actual name. After all, my name needs no translation regardless of the foreign country I might visit nor will it need be translated over the course of 2000 years should anyone on earth remember or refer to me, which is of course doubtful.
When one refers to "God" certainly that was not the name given by Our Creator to Moses as the word "God" is merely a title. Is YHWH's name important ? I think so. I would not want my seed to refer to me in such an impersonal way as "the Mailman", "the Grocery Clerk", "the Plumber" etc. and would think that the Most High would desire His Own refer to Him as Abba or Father or by His Name which certainly is not "God" as their are many gods. Is this an issue that deserves merit ? I would think so but many don't seem to see it that way. I've heard of the Christ being refered to as Yeshua of course. Is this correct ? How would "Yeshua" be pronounced phonetically as I have seen a myriad of different spellings and pronounciations
13And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them? 14And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you. How was This Name pronounced in Hebrew by Moses unto the Israelites ?
