However, I didn't join another forum - but I did read another while this was down. No contributions however, the people on the other forum are MEAN.

I checked Shadrach's forum a bunch because I thought some of you would go there but ...

I went back to CGR and posted a couple of times. I usually check there anyway. It was the first forum I ever posted in. I watched all of the first season of CSI_New York, a Christmas gift, and got hooked.

CF has been down like that a few times in the past. I'm a member of about 6 other forums, so it wasn't too bad. I like the new look.

I went and hung out at a World War 2 discussion group I used to be a regular at. We started discussing a great new WW2 book I've been reading, Shattered Sword: The Untold Story of the Battle of Midway. So now I've got to spend some time at both...at least until we're done discussing the book at the other group.

Uh, well. . .do I really want to tell you how many times I daily checked CF while it was down? Maybe I'd better not even go there. As for join another forum, I must confess that while I didn't technically join another one, I did go back to englishforums.com. Now ya'll know how bad I am. I had joined it a year or so ago and really enjoyed it. But after SR, it was just so limp and lifeless! No Reformed friends to talk to, no people to fellowship with, no doctrine to discuss. I did go back to Shadrach's site and posted once, but noone else seemed active there. That was a shame since we all could have gone there to wait out the week. I will say that I was feeling so lonely and disconnected without you all! I missed all of my brothers and sisters here! Luckily, I did have an email address or two and was able to communicate that way. . .but it wasn't exactly the same!

I HATE THIS... The pages take forever to load and the font is so small it gives me a headache. I hope that this is not a permanent situation...

I know what you mean. I have bad eyesight anyway and for the font to be so small. . .Also, once I post, all of the graphics go blank until I go to a new page. But, I am so delighted that we all reunited!

anyone else dealing with the slow load times and the page being so big you have to scroll sideways to read the posts? I'm sure this is being worked on, but I can't deal with this.... I have checked regularly to see if it was up, but I'm proud to say, I did not join another forum... however, I've been playing alot of euchre on playsite.com!! hopefully the site will be up and running properly soon.....

Its early days guys. be patient! We don't have all the facilities available yet that are consistent with a forum like personalised font size etc etc. Erwin(The administrator) has only just got a basic forum up for posting. I'm sure all the bells and whistles will follow in due time!

I have not posted in a while. I decided to get into it again and the site was down. Now that it is back up........I'm back.

I am members of other message boards but I am not as motivated as I am here. However, I did some searious thinking while CF went down and changed the way I react to CF posts.

Hi imblessed , it is a lot better today , faster and I can now see the pictures and icons ......... the page still hangs to the right and the font is tiny , I think CF is going to be on and off line for weeks.

I too am a member of about 6 other forums so I went and did some posting over there .............. I didn't have major withdrawal symptoms like some because I went without CF a year ago for two solid Months while getting my ISP and phone company sorted ....... so a week wasn't that bad .

Great to see CF back online .

I checked on CF yesterday and I couldn't deal with it -- slow and unwieldy. Seems to be better today.

Last week was busy, so while I missed everybody I was too busy to be here anyway had the site been up and running. Life just seems busier these days.

I was so busy with homework in my digital design class that I have not even had time for homework in other classes, let alone sleep, meals, or CF. I have adjusted my schedule, though, but now that CF is back up I don't need to seek out other forums. Not that I would know where to go.
