  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

It will make sense, keep trusting God.

Proverbs 3:5

5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding

_________

This verse can be interpreted in many ways since there’s no historical context in the book of Proverbs. The chapter 3 focuses on the benefits of wisdom for a Christian.

Our desire to know every little detail of God’s plan can easily create frustration and discontentment. Sometimes we tend to overanalyse a situation when God gives us a vision. And it’s getting worse when our reality doesn’t match where we think we should be. Have you ever felt like you’re left behind? When you’re doing your best to be obedient but nothing changes?

Most of the time we’re sure that God told us to take action but the process takes longer than expected. And that’s usually when the enemy tricks us into overdoing everything. We lose faith in God and forget that the promise originally came from Him ...

Allow me to share my personal experience for a minute.

I wanted to sell my car by the end of March and tried my best to do so. I thought it would be simple but two weeks passed and I just couldn’t sell it. I was panicking but strangely, unexpected events happened and I ended up needing my car more than usual. Now I have to admit that God was stopping me from selling it too fast. I wanted things to be done quicker and didn’t trust in Him enough.

So I’d like to encourage you today that not knowing when or how your situation will improve isn’t a big deal. It’s okay if you don’t have it all figured out. God will direct your steps and everything will make sense sooner or later, just like what happened to me.
