I had near a thousand blessings when I bought my CF pet. The pet drained all those and more. I had to give my pet up for adoption because I had no blessings left and every time I did get some, I had to pump it into the pet. Someone needs to make it easier to own a pet. It's too much!

We know it takes a lot. One way is to adopt a pet so it's cheaper at the start. They do need to eat, and unless you have a job that pays at least 100 blessings per week or you spend a lot of time posting, it can be difficult to maintain the pet. There's nothing wrong with giving up your pet if you are having difficulty. Doctor CF has requested cheaper food. Hopefully in the future it will get easier.

I see you gave in and got a pet. Don't worry. Each time you feed your pet, post to replace the blessings you used.

It may make sense to wait a while because after you purchase the pet, it will cost about 100 blessings a week to keep it's tummy full.

I don't find that it's difficult right now since I earn enough, but I think those who earn less than 100 a week will have difficulty unless they become site supporters or post like crazy.

yes get a pet I am new too and love it here ! Posting becomes so easy but sometimes I wonder if because of blessings do some of the posts and one liner ones and no non sense things get made just for blessings

Oops -- one more thing. Owning a pet on the forum and owning a pet in real life are much the same. They both need a lot of attention and that can be expensive.

Yes, it is similar, except that your CF pet won't whine when it's hungry so you have to remember to check on it.
