hey y'all, I'm julia. I'm new. I'm a freak, that is, a freak for the cross of Christ and his empty tomb and all the glory and grace that surround them.
Mostly, I love the Lord my God and am seeking to understand how he could still love me after all of the **** I've thrown in his face and the nails I have pounded into his body.

I'm 20, living my days thus far in Michigan. Some random facts:

I have five piercings. three in my left ear, one in my right, and one in my nose.
I sing a lot. Out loud. To music. But I don't like to sing in front of people by myself. I at least need one more person to help me make a fool out of myself.
I love cars. I love to drive cars. I even *gasp* love me some trucks. Like crazy.
I love people most of all. I love to get to know people, make them feel comfortable, make friends, see somebody smile... I LOVE people.
I know God is calling me into mission work (long term) sometime in my future... But I am not sure when that will be. It is just kind of... lingering there in my heart.
I wear black plastic rimmed glasses.
My father passed away in February from breast cancer and I am feeling quite strongly about forming a group of folks who appreciate the fact that men get breast cancer too, not just women. It affects us all.

HI there! I'm new also. Like you, I lost my mom last Nov. 20th, so this has been a year like none other. If not for God, I wouldn't have made it through all the grief & sorrow. But, praise the Lord!!! I have made it through without being admitted to the looney-bin! I'll keep you & your family in my prayers also. Oh yea, I like tatoos myself, have one on my back of a dolphin, I'm a water-baby.
