I just ran across this video on YouTube and given the current situation with Israel I thought I would spread it around. If you've got some time you might want to watch this video (only 5 minutes). It is a documentary on the 1967 6-Day war between Israel and it's Arab neighbors. In just 6-days the nation of Israel scored a stunning and miraculous victory totally outnumbered and out gunned, which could only be by the hand of God! It is looking more and more like this is going to happen again in the next few days, Israel's muslim Arab neighbors are conspiring to unite and attack Israel again, saying they are going to push the Israelis into the ocean and kill every man, woman, and child in the nation! This is a short and sweet documentary. Goes to show that God played a part in protecting Israel from three enemies in six days. This reminds me of Exodus 23, which discusses how God made Israel's enemies run away.

Exodus 23:27 (NIV): "I will send my terror ahead of you and throw into confusion every nation you encounter. I will make all your enemies turn their backs and run."

I have a couple!

First one is a documentary on the siege of Jerusalem by King Nebuchadnezzar in 587 BC. It is straight from the book of Jeremiah chapter 39 and the bible comes to life! It would be a good thing to share in church! The link to the video is below:

Second one is a documentary on the 1973 Yom Kippur war between Israelis, Syria, and Egypt! It is about 43 minutes but is fascinating! The Israelis were once again totally outnumbered and outgunned but managed a decisive victory anyway, another miracle on top of the 1967 6-Day War! Third one is a documentary on Operation Orchard, another secret Israeli Air Force mission to take out a Syrian nuclear reactor being used to produce plutonium to make a nuclear bomb. This took place several years after the raid on the Iraqi nuclear reactor and the intent was the same- the Syrians wanted to build a nuclear bomb to destroy Israel! This is an absolutely amazing story and you can see the hand of God in it, if you've got the time (25 mins) you might want to take a look at it! the link to the video is below, you can paste the link into your web browser.

Fourth one is a documentary on Operation Opera, a secret Israeli air force mission to destroy a nuclear reactor in Iraq that was being used to produce plutonium for a nuclear weapons program. The very survival of Israel depended on this mission as if Saddam Hussein got his hands on a nuclear bomb he would certainly use it on Israel to wipe out the jewish state! This is an amazing story and was a stunning victory and had God's fingerprints all over it, if you've got the time (45 mins) you might want to take a look at it. Fifth one is a documentary on the battle for Jerusalem and the destruction of the 2nd temple, Jesus spoke of this and prophesied during his ministry on the earth-
“And Jesus went out from the temple, and was going on his way; and his disciples came to him to show him the buildings of the temple. But he answered and said unto them, ‘You see all of these things, do you not? Truly I say unto you, there shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down’” (Matthew 24:1-2)
In this video the Roman general Titus and 60 thousand Roman troops lays siege to Jerusalem in the year 70 AD and eventually sacked the city and burns down the 2nd temple, thus fulfilling the words spoken by Jesus! This is an awesome history lesson and you can see the words of Christ come to pass, you might want to take a look at it, only 15 minutes! I would highly recommend watching the video below!

Sixth one is a documentary on the third crusade. King Richard the Lionheart of England squared off against the Muslim leader Saladin in holy war to control the holy city of Jerusalem. This is an awesome history lesson and is important to watch in order to understand current events in the middle east, the middle eastern arabs are still bitter about the crusades to this day! Thank you for the documentaries. I have watched the ones on Operation Opera, Operation Orchard, but not the Golan heights one. Thank you. I will watch these after a movie.

Wow what a victory. I like the part where the women said the Isreali commander who wasn't big on God and tradition put a note in the wall saying "this is Gods doing; it is wonderous in our eyes'.

I think there's a movement rising up in Jerusalem and Isreal of Jewish nationalism and belonging. There are calls for the Jews to come home.

It is certainly another crossroads for Isreal for their right to exist. Just like last time Isreal has taken out Irans capability and Syria has more or less done it to itself and dismantled its ability to attack anyone. Well Issreal and the US and Turkey of all nations helped.

But I think this time its different. I think its culminatiung. All the years of conflict are coming to some kind of crossroads as to ending this one way of another and I think the momentum is with Isreal.

The 6-day war was not the first miracle of the kind, already in 1948 Israel won a war started by its neighbors against any expectation.

From the very day of the proclamation of the State of Israel, neighboring Arab countries invaded its territory, and the Arab-Israeli War of 1948 began. A significant part of the UN members, by whose decision Israel was created, although formally supporting this decision, were very reluctant to the idea of the creation of the State of Israel and expected the imminent end of the newly created state. In particular, Israel had no support from either the British or the US. The U.S. maintained an arms embargo on both warring parties and created difficulties for American volunteers who wanted to participate in the war. And yet Israel won the war, contrary to the expectations of the whole world, and especially contrary to the expectations of the British and Americans. This was thanks to Czechoslovakia, which sent Israel the weapons and ammunition it needed for the war. (One could dig deeper, looking at the root, as some historians do, and say that it was thanks to Stalin, who allowed Czechoslovakia under his control to send unnecessary surplus of weapons left over from the Second World War to Israel...)
