  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I had a really bad day/night yesterday, so I was feeling pretty miserable when I got up this morning. As I was sitting here, visiting CF, my roommate's cat came in, sat on my lap, and got all affectionate and lovey. :) He's never done that before; he's not a mean kitty, but he can be savage at times! This much friendly behavior for that long was highly unusual. Too bad he had to ruin it by trying to bite me, but it was the thought that counts, right?

God uses all sorts of methods to show us that He loves us, doesn't He? :)

Millie can always tell when something is wrong. It is funny how they can tell and how God uses them for comfort.
I used to work in a nursing home and we had two dogs, a fat cat and a cockatoo. Well there was a resident who hated cats but loved this one becasue when she was on her "death bed" the cat stayed by her. She then recovered and now she takes care of the cat and the cat stays in her room and won't go to anybody else. Thew resident didn't have any family so the cat became her family.

My cats always seem to be able to sense when I've had a bad day. Whenever I'm crying over something, Tiger always just appears there in front of me. They really do have unconditional love. Hey does anyone else ever notice how cats sometimes stare so intently into space, as if they see something we can't? Just wondering, cause mine do all the time, and I wonder just what they see.
