CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Yoga scares me.
Perhaps not all people use it for the same thing, but it seems mainly to be used to "reach your inner self" to "meditate", to "go out of your body", to "reach spirits". Some spiritual teachers tell you that in order to reach the spirits and to talk to them, (or your inner self) you have to meditate, empty your mind and basically do yoga.
Perhaps I just don't understand it, but it sounds too close to new age practices and those people that believe that "we are God", that I would be afraid to venture into that world. Because if one is not mature enough to tell the difference between evil spirits and God's spirit, it would be dangerous. Because Satan can imitate the angel of light.

witches, pagans, newagers, and mystics will all tell you there are spirits of Light and darkness. They teach that you must learn 'spiritual warfare' to be able to protect yourself. So yes, Satan is trying to get us. But we can be smarter.
