What is your point?
2 Timothy 3:16 KJV — All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

2 Timothy 2:15 KJV — Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Isaiah 28:10 KJV — For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:

"Chaining scripture together" refers to the practice of connecting verses from different parts of the Bible to create a narrative, essentially weaving together various passages to tell a cohesive story, often highlighting a particular theme or message that might not be readily apparent when reading individual verses alone.

Yeah, so, what is your point? Let me say it this way. You are trying to show a 'cohesive story', to make a point. I've read Isaiah 29, the entire chapter, several times, in the larger context and by itself, in several different versions. What I am asking you is, what is this 'story' you are making by asking us to read it. Got a summary statement or what? Most of us here, I would imagine, read the Bible without your promptings. What is the reason you have for asking us to read this particular chapter?

Good thing or bad thing?

13
But the word of the Lord was to them,
“Precept upon precept, precept upon precept,
Line upon line, line upon line,
Here a little, there a little,”
That they might go and fall backward, and be broken
And snared and caught
