However have we ever thought of whether our birthdays are tied with a significant event in history? I've taken the initiative to find out and list the most significant happened on the date of my birthday:
21st January
1793 - Former King of France Louis XVI is found guilty and guillotined as a result of the French Revolution
1919 - First ruler of the Korean Empire Emperor Gwangmu dies
1924 - Communist revolutionary Vladimir Lenin dies
1925 - Albania becomes a republic
1954 - First ever nuclear powered submarine, USS Nautilus, is launched
1968 - Debut of the Battle of Khe Sanh (one of the bloodiest battles of the Vietnam War)
1985 - Inauguration of US President Ronald Reagen for a second term
2008 - Black Monday, stock exchange plunges to 9/11 levels
2013 - Public inauguration of Barack Obama for a second term
