no, because the mark will be something that when it comes around we will know who the Anti-Christ is already and “taking” the mark will be a conscience decision between following God or following Satan. This thing here fits neither of those criteria.

Plus it’s even possible the mark is not some physical thing at all. The scriptures speak of symbols on our hands and foreheads (Deuteronomy 6:8-9) in reference to obedience. So it’s very likely, the mark of the beast being on the hand or forehead isn’t a physical mark at all, but symbolism for people who are enslaved to the devil.

Thus Revelation denounces those who “have the mark” as being unrepentant and worthy of God’s wrath.

The technology is creepy on many levels and perhaps the handicapped people will get a great benefit. Once you mass computer augment people brains you start to raise questions as to who is controlling who? or do you lose free will when this interface is established. There is no way this is the mark of the beast because most would likely get it in there right hands which would be then not a neurolink for them.

We're definitely in the last days where we can see the mark in it's infancy. It could be this video or the first video too because just because it doesn't START OUT as being used to buy and sell, no one can say it won't evolve to that.
The first video is going to have everyone connected biologically and permanently online, to the beast computer system. The World Wide Web. Interesting that that's the name they gave the internet years before they knew it would evolve into what we have today. Why use the word "web" instead of world wide link or something like that. So people will be permanently and biologically linked to the web, and the implants in the hand will allow them to buy and sell with their own direct internal internet connection. Definitely in the last day. The antichrist will either be an alien or an AI. the Bible says the number of the beast is also the number of man. They say the internet is made up of ones and zeros, numbers. And the acronym for the internet is WWW. Like 666. Maybe W was the 6th letter of the alphabet Revelation was written in or something. Hi glad to see a Catholic who believes these things are future and prophetic. If you look at the chapter 13 there are a couple things clear that are directly related to the mark of the beast. #1 the beast is given all authority by the dragon (Satan that serpent of old). #2 He survives a mortal head wound. #3 he causes all to worship the dragon and the beast. #4 he blasphemes God and His name, the tabernacle, and those in heaven. He has this authority for 42 months and he begins to persecute making war against the saints. All of this is going on when the mark and image of the beast roll out.

Now this will make whatever is being implemented obvious if one knows the context so bar codes, vaccines, RFID Chips, Neurolinks or whatever else is suggested will become evident with 42 months to go. Now Daniel 9 the 70 weeks has the sacrifice being stopped in the middle of the week and 2 Thes 2 has the man of sin being revealed in the temple proclaiming to be God. This very well could make the abomination of desolation be the very point in time where the beast obtains this authority and blasphemes with lying signs and wonders that deceive many. They may have believed it could happen in their time but obviously it was not meant for them because of the very reason you stated! The technological advancement needed to pull it off was not available "so that no one can buy or sell [clearly a worldwide event] unless he has the mark"! I see in Strong's that ἐπί (epi) is used for "on, over, when; (dat.) on, at, in, while; (acc.) across, over, on, to, for, while" Even if used as on there is development of electronic smart tattoos placed on the skin that will be used to store data!

First thing, what is "buying and selling"? It is what we do everyday. So if people need to to be "marked" in order to buy and sell, what we looking at is some kind of "marked economy".

It stands to reason that for such a society to function like this, there has to be mechanisms in place that can determine that the people who take part in society have a "authentic mark" on them (that means there would have to be verification methods set up).

Look with credit/debit cards, each number is registered to a individuals account, but if someone was to try and use a card with a fake number and scan it through a machine, that is not going to work.

Now when looking in context of this word "worship" what are the people doing? Before the person accepts the mark, said person has to give their consent, and if they have given their consent, they have obeyed or submitted themselves to a higher authority to accept the mark so they can continue to be part of society. I suppose one can call this some kind of "2 factor authentication" to use a expression. The person has willingly complied with the requirement to get the mark and has accepted.

This "mark" whatever it is, is a "means of identification".

Now in the world we live in today, the reference to the right hand and forehead, maybe there is something inside the people who took the MOTB, something going through their blood stream and the locations mentioned could be referring to specialised scanning equipment? I also recall some time ago reading a article (I think one can still find it on the internet), of all the places in the body ideal for a implant, it was the right hand and forehead, something to do with the temperature in those locations.

Whatever it is, we are headed there, if we haven't got there already.

But what I have seen in the past 2 years, tells me we are much closer than we realise (for all I know, we could of been seeing a trial or test run of what the future will be like).

This will allow us to accomplish things that are impossible at the moment. It's a brilliant concept. That being said, no, it's not the Mark of the Beast.
