CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Am only half way through video. Looks like sound teaching so far. It's quite interesting, makes you think of the way you interpret the bible and what bias you may bring to the reasoning, like the seeing Christ in the old testament, that's something I got told to do! Ohoh...lol
Quite informative. But could be a bit confusing for some people as scripture talks about past events and future events so it might convince people that it's even harder to understand some events of the bible then.
Was a bit confused after he talked about the 6 days creation. So he says that these are literal days and are to be taken as such so I assume for the 7th he means the same. But in a previous sermon he did all he could to prove Sunday observance (did not deny existence of Sabbath though) and I'm sure he did say that they did not have that before Sinai. So that leads me to question some things about how literal he thinks the Bible is. Also i'm left wondering if his argument that new testament ideas shouldn't put meaning on what is said in the OT is now coherent? I think what he's saying need deeper study from my part. Thanks for the video!
