  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Yesterday after doing my abs at the gym, my uterus became very hard for a few seconds (15 maybe?) and then relaxed. Then it did it again a few minutes later and kept doing it for about 30 minutes.

It started doing it again while I was sitting at the computer last night and lasted for about an hour. I was kind of worried so dh and I prayed before going to sleep and I fell asleep quickly.

It didn't hurt at all. Are these Braxton-Hicks?

I see my doctor on Wednesday, so I'll ask her about it.

Sounds like BH to me, especially since you were working out.

Next time you work out, I would drink a lot of water before hand and during your work out and hopefully that should help.

And like Beth said, you can always ask the doctor or call the nurse line if you're worried :)

I read that BH happen ALL the time, pregnant or not. We usually just don't Feel them until we're pregnant and the uterus gets bigger.

With one of my pregnancies I had intense BH the whole way through (also my easiest birth ;)).

Glad you were able to be re-assured. BH is what i would of said they were.

I get them quite a bit - basically whenever i am walking for longer than a few min i will get them. I've got used to them now and they don't hurt at all.

I like the idea that the labour will be easier if you've had them lol
