Another thing I wanted to bring up was, how does one determine what is hypocritical, a lie, and simply changing your mind?
For example, a while ago, I was against church dating, but now I am starting to retract my previous thought. Would that be considered changing my mind or something else?
If you change your mind and stay behind that change it's fine, it only becomes hypocritical if you contradict and go against what you say. Example- Saying you strongly dislike and disapprove of cussing, but just 5 minutes later, turn around and curse like a sailor cause you got ticked off about something. That's hypocritical, it wouldn't be if you said you approved though, and then cursed, then it'd just be a bad decision/habit =P.
