Is this better than Jesus?

Yes, I mean, you all sort of want to feel better about yourself since you sin, and you want closeness, to a real person, but you never really get it because everyone`s busy, but let`s, say there`s a place, where you can just be yourself and talk normally to others, and have something to eat, or drink, just being yourself, I know this place doesn`t exist except from fantasies, but I made something today for you, is this at the same level as being with Jesus, himself, it`s located in Norway, I painted it, and put up some lanterns:

How would that (your painting) give a person Eternal Life, so they will be able to live on the new earth, after this earth is destroyed.

Maybe there isn`t eternal life, and our planet won`t be destroyed

There is eternal life and the earth will be destroyed. the earth is already showing signs of the coming destruction. As earthquakes will increase with the passing of time, among other signs.

Isn`t it a little destructive, to sit and wait for heaven, and planet to be destroyed, instead of having fun?

I have fun i have been working on this painting the last few weeks having a good ole time. i can have a good time knowing that my future is secure and that nothing can take away my Eternal Life gift that was given from God.

My purpose in this life is to do God's will, not to miss the good deeds he prepared in advance for me to do.

See this is what Jesus is offering! The only begotten Son of God, (The promised Messiah) is offering to anyone who will believe in Jesus. That is believe that Jesus is the resurrection and the life

“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.

Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?”
She said to Him, “Yes, Lord, I believe that You are the Christ, the Son of God, who is to come into the world.”

but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name.

Hei!

Enjoying life and art are good things, but Jesus brings life, peace, joy and a love that the world can never match or emulate. The Christian faith is not a mere therapeutic idea, but is about the reality that the man Jesus Christ is God, who, in His love, created us and redeemed us. This is something that is very profound and is relevant to all human beings, whether we realise it or not.

Though I have the joy of serving in the church now, I'm also an artist by trade (and a Norwegian!) So it's quite possible to enjoy life and art and be a Christian at the same time. They're not exclusive things.

if you truly wonder is it better then Jesus....then ask Him. Don't ask anyone else ask Him. The key here is you must mean it with your heart...He will ALWAYS show up.

Your question indicates that you just don't get it yet Tjufsen. Our souls have an innate need for a relationship with God, our Creator. No place on earth, no matter how nice, can possibly fill that need.

Even if you don't feel the need for God in your heart, you can surely recognize the general need that people have for love. Those that don't find such love from God or through normal human relationships often try to replace it with other objects or activities. Such things may work as a distraction to subdue the primary need, but they can't satisfy them.

Being made in the image of God, your heart/conscience/soul/spirit was designed for love - to love God and to love people. You're free to embrace or reject that need, but don't think that we "never really get it because everyone's busy." Many people experience wonderful, fulfilling love in this world, and many more will experience it for all eternity in the next world to come.

Is this better than Jesus?
