Is this a good price for a Wii?

Hi, A local for sale forum has a person selling a Wii for 300.00 never been used and it comes with the sport games. Is this a good deal or not?

In a word, no. Retail price of the Wii is $250, and it always comes with Wii Sports out of the box.

If you REALLY want a Wii and want to spend the extra $50 just to have one now, go a head. But most stores sell them for $250 with Wii Sports, a Wiimote, and a Nunchuck.

RETAIL for wii is 249+tax around $260
I sold my Wii+sports+SSBB for $312 ish

It's not bad if you don't have to pay for shipping.

Personally I had really bad luck finding one and ended up buying an online bundle for like 600$. There was no mark up, you just had to make a minimum purchase and got to choose your games and accessories. Shipping was like 20-30$ so a 50$ mark up isn't bad.

This game system was going to be new and still in the box the seller says. My local Wal-mart is sold out of them and so now I'm going to buy from a online website to save me on sales tax which is 9 3/4 here in Tennessee.

Only advantage is they are somewhat hard to find and you can get one now but if you dont mind waiting you can get one $50 cheaper.

Is it difficult to find a Wii in America?

You guys are lucky that it comes with Wii Sports. It doesn't come with any games here, but of course I picked up Wii Sports when I go the system. That would come to around $300US, so from my perspective it would be ok to pay that much in a shop. Used? Nope. Even thought it's unopened, the value should go down if it was already purchased by someone else.

I just picked up Smash Brothers X, Wii Fit and Mario Kart Wii earlier this week. Fun, fun, fun!
