Is this a good Church to recommend - Atlanta

Hi all

Can anyone from the area of Atlanta tell me if this is a good Catholic Church?

St Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church

Kennesaw, GA 30144-2945

I am looking for a good Church to recommend to someone from Woodstock GA . . the local Church is questionable to them . .. this one is about 12 milesa way . .

I saw perpetual adoration and said ah-ha!

I didn't see the rest so thank you for pointing them out . . it seems to me that theologically they sound as though they are sound and not off in la-la land . ..


I was hoping someone from here might have some personal knowledge about them.

I have a friend who lives in Kennesaw. I'll ask her if she knows anything about St. Catherine's, but she's Baptist so I don't know how much help she'll be able to give us.

I live in Roswell wichi is pretty close to kennesaw I say just shop around until you find a Catholic church you like, check out masstimes.org for a list of churches and their times, it's a really cool site.

Where are my posts?

This is for someone who is not a Catholic going through some very tough times . . I wanted to give them a good priest to talk to . . . . . I am no where near GA myself!

TheresePio-- There is a priest there- Fr. Theodore Book-- who was ordained the same year as my brother, they are really good friends and went to the NAC together. One of my good friends here- her boyfriend attends that parish. It is awesome- orthodox- and truly Catholic. They will find the depth and heartbeat of the Mystical Body at that parish. There's an active young adult ministry (20-40). And one of my friends said that when she saw Fr. Book- she cried because he said Mass so reverently that it seemed as though he truly was looking at Jesus face to face in the Eucharist!

Anyway-- I give that parish a resounding thumbs up!
