is there really a satan?

I could answer that from personal experience for without a shadow of a doubt I know, but that would do little to providing you an answer. I really believe it comes down to the integrity of the Word in a person’s life.

Without satin you have no fall, without the fall no need for a redeemer, without the redeemer we have no hope, and without the hope life is merely 70 years and a hole in the ground.

I sincerely don’t think you can take one without the other. We know God through his and through his Word God has made known the works of the prince of the power of the air. If we question the one what we really are questioning is the integrity and accuracy of the written Word

I do not personally believe that Satan exists in the way in which we think he does....that is to say, I do not believe he is a little red devil with a spiked tail and a pitchfork.


I DO believe that Satan is the force behind all that is Evil, just as God is the force behind all that is Good. But that can be confusing to some people, because God created Satan (therefore He created evil?) but where the confusion can end is : Satan "fell" --- he desired power to rival God's and he was banished from Heaven.

So, I believe Satan is not an individual, rather a force...much like God. Only nowhere NEAR as powerful.

Over and over again, Ive been saying that "the Fall" has always been part of the Christian God's* plan
FINALLY, someone who says (or at least alludes) something similar

*Not that I believe in such, the above is only based on my past Christian experience and reading the bible then and since.

For me, I don't really comprehend a satan person. I don't know why you would want to go against a loving, just and good god. It just doesn't make much sense.

As far as him existing, My faith causes me to believe he does(or did). As I have in a lot cases, an older type feel.. Where I sorta see things as a bit literal.
Though I try to be as inclusive as possible. I think that once given the "light" or gospel in the correct fashion(not that most ways arent) when someone REALLY see's what it is about, it is too hard not to be interested. Because it is really a Gift, God gives you so much. And all you have to do is be good. I mean, its a sinch. (not to make light, of anything of it)

my best advice, why concern yourself with proof. i mean the devil is something we cannot see, and if the power of the Gospel and God is truly real, then we have no reason to concern ourselves with some fallen angel. God Bless!

That's an illogical statement. Your conclusion is based on a presumption that there is a being named Satan who is the antithesis to G-d. Therefore, it has to be a "Yea" for you to be correct. Should it be "Nay", you would be s.o.l.
