Is it possible to turn off the CF pet rescuers? I mean, I don't mind people feeding my pet every once in awhile, but I really don't aprpeciate my PM box being flooded with Pet Rescuers feeding and playing with her. Yes, Firebrand isn't always the happiest little kitty...but it's for the sake of a dramatic exercise I'm working on for my writing. (And please don't say, 'How dare you sacrifice your kitty for the sake of drama!" It's VIRTUAL!)
I have, if anything, found Firebrand to be less entertaining since the Rescuers came out in force. Before they came along, if I didn't feed my poor kitty the result could be permanent loss, now I am only punished with dozens of PMs. Why should I care about feeding my pet? If I forget, the Rescuers will take care of her. It's taken most of the fun out of it. Call me cruel, but I have actually considered TRYING to kill off a pet to see if it was possible anymore!
I'm not trying to put an end to the Pet Rescuers...I just would appreciate it if they weren't so agressive. I'm not sure if you realize this, but when somebody goes on CF and finds eleven PMs all from a CF pet rescuer, it can seem rather condemning. Especially if the person did not feel their pet needed "rescuing."
