What is the fastest way to go from a private message back to the threads here?

It seems like my private messages hit in "threes" so after I check them all I have to click on "Christian Forums", then go way down the list to the Adventist link.

Is there a shortcut?

That has also been a problem for me.

This is how I do, perhaps someone has a better system and can improve on it.

I have under "favorites" CF bookmarked and and back to CF through that way by clicking on to CF when it comes up in the "favorites".

I still think there must be a better and quicker way.

Just Click on UserCP at the top and that will take you to your list of subscribed threads. Then you choose a thread.

Statrei, the problem with that is that I'm subscribed to a lot of threads, and unfortunately it doesn't put them in chronological order. That would work if the last thread you were in was put on top. So by the time you find the thread you want, you might as well go the long way in the first place.

Strange. It tends to bring up my most recent threads at the top. But I see what you are saying about being in a thread when the PM comes.

most "back" buttons on browsers will let you go back a few pages. OR get firefox it has a toolbar favorites. You can put all your favorites right to it.

I was just thinking. The best thing to do to open the PM in a separate window so that you don't have that problem.

Maybe that's the problem, we have pop-up blocker so it redirects this page instead of opening a new window.

I have the same here so I clilck the yellow bar and allow it to temporarily allow pop-ups or always accept pop-ups from this site. Of course, I often forget that I opened a new window with the obvious result.

I think Jonathan has a good point, I've heard good things about the FireFox browser so maybe I'll just get that installed.

Firefox is good, I have used it for a couple of years... also Opera is another good browser, and they are both free....

Ok, I've got FireFox installed and am using it now. I've already put on a button that takes me back to the top page of our forum - and yes, it is very nice indeedy!

Glad i could help. It is much safer but important! keep updating your computer. And Active x controls can install themselves automatically just by visiting a website. God BLess.
