There is only One God and He spoke in One Book. All other supposed revelations from God are not at all from Him. Unfortunately all these other world religions like Koran, Book of Mormon, Joseph Smith, Jehovas witnesses, are all fabrications of both men and demons. God spoke and he has spoken in one Book and that is our Bible.

Tell us what exactly are the "oral traditions" and tell us where these "oral traditions" are, then tell us how you know positively, infallibly that they are Apostolic in origin.

Not all the Traditions of the Church were revealed by the early Apostles. The Church has throughout its history produced people who were equal to the Apostles and just as capable of speaking and teaching by the power of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit never left the Church. Which of the Apostles handed down the precise terminology used to describe the Trinity for example? None of them. They probably had no idea about the subtle differences that would develop with the words "hypostasis" and "Ousia". Yet that is a tradition the vast majority of Protestants recognize as being divine teaching too.

The faith isn't some dead thing that we need to do historical reasearch to find out about. The Holy Spirit is here now like He was with St Paul and St Peter!

Not all the Traditions of the Church were revealed by the early Apostles. The Church has throughout its history produced people who were equal to the Apostles and just as capable of speaking and teaching by the power of the Holy Spirit.
It is Written:
I tell you the truth: Among those born of women there has not risen anyone greater
than John the Baptist; yet he who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.

The Holy Spirit never left the Church.
It is written:
He shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever.

It may be a 'tradition' but if you can't prove it Scripturally then why buy into it?
(I'm talking about this hypostasis/ousia etc... men trying to put God into some
box )
As far as "Trinity" God in three persons... no man can understand nor explain it.
They want to give it this "label" which makes them more secure, that's fine with
me but personally, I am fine with going with what God says in Scripture alone...
It is written:
Before Abraham was... I am.

The faith isn't some dead thing that we need to do historical reasearch to find out about. The Holy Spirit is here now like He was with St Paul and St Peter!
It is Written:
Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything
that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. For where two or
more are gathered together in My Name, I am there in the midst of them

Amen!

You asked "Is SOLO Scriptura Scriptual?"

Tell us what part of the whole armour of God is not a component of the word of God?

Which part of the armour is tradition?
We're to put on what God tells us to put on.

Traditions are not all evil, but why use the tradition clause when the word of God is being contradicted by traditions that scriptures teach against?

It may be a 'tradition' but if you can't prove it Scripturally then why buy into it?

For the same reason I buy into the Scriptures themselves. Christ established His Church as the "pillar and ground of truth" ( 1st Timothy 3:15) and sent the Holy Spirit to guide us into all truth. I accept the Scriptures because of their fruits. They have the power to change lives and lead to salvation. They bring comfort to the suffering and help give meaning to peoples lives. For the same reason I accept the Church which by the guiding of the Holy Spirit gave us the Bible and authorized those books as being worthy of reading during the liturgy .

Re: trying to prove it with Scripture. I agree that you can't form an airtight argument for every nuance of the formulation. You can see that it is consistant with what the Bible teaches though and is an excellent explanation of what the Bible points too.

He shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever.

True. The Muslims however believe Muhammad is that "comforter".

John 14:26 The yet Comforter/Beside-Called/para-klhtoV <3875>, the Spirit, the Holy-one, which the Father shall be sending in the name of Me, that ye he shall be teaching all-things, and shall be reminding ye all which said to ye I.

Yep, but Mani beat him to that by a few centuries. He said he was the promised comfortor and millions of Manicheans believed him.
So did Saul/Paul, whom they view as a "false Apostle".....guess my bro Paul was too much competition for Muhammad
[I don't know who Mani is]

Interesting.
Sounds a tad bit like my bro Paul in 1 Corin 9:20

http://www.scripture4all.org/

1 Corin 9:20 and I became to the Judeans as a Judean that Judeans I should be gaining to those under Law as under Law that of the under Law I should be gaining.
21 To those un-Lawed as un-Lawed no being un-Law to God but in-Lawed to Christ that I should be gaining those un-Lawed
22 I became to those weak as weak, that the weak I should be gaining.
To the All I have become All that All any I should be saving.

I believe the Word of God is living and breathing, and right from God's own mouth. I believe it is God-breathed.

I believe that just as He said "Let there be Light", His Words, he breathed into His messengers, will do as He bids it, and accomplish that which He sends it to do.

I remember reading thru Genesis 15 awhile back and for some reason this one passage stuck out at me.
We are of the faith of Abraham and it was thru Abraham the Promise of his seed.

Anywho, when I saw this, the event of Pentecost came to mind, as a "torch of fire" is mentioned in 15:17, whereas in Acts 2 it was as "tongues of fire". Pretty fascinating.......

Genesis 15:17And the sun is becoming set and twilight became and behold! an oven of smoke and a torch of fire which passed between the severed-ones, these.
18 In that day YHWH cut with Abram a Covenant to say of 'to thy seed I give this land from river of Egypt as far as the river, the great river Euphrates

Acts 2:1 And in to the to be together-filled the day of the Pentecost were all likewise upon the same.
2 And became suddenly out of the Heaven a blare, as-even of carrying of forcible blast, and it fills the whole house where they were sitting.
3 And were seen to them as dividing tongues as if of fire and is seated upon one each of them.
