Numbers 31:15-18 said:And Moses said unto them, Have ye saved all the women alive? ... Now therefore kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman that hath known man by lying with him. But all the women children, that have not known a man by lying with him, keep alive for yourselves.

What were they taking the virgins for? Sex, of course. Were they going to marry these virgins? If sex is so bad, why is Moses of all people telling his followers to take the virgins for themselves?
You can think that all you want. Of course you can't actually show how I'm "depraved" and how being committed to the one I love is so wrong.
All we know is that some Jewish guys said that God said those things a long time ago. They said that God said lots of other things as well. They said that God said you should kill homosexuals too. Do you think God said that? They said God said you should kill your unruly son. Do you think God said that? There is nothing wrong with loving someone. However, God specifically says that homosexuality is wrong and immoral. God's the one that says that, and no matter how much one homosexual loves another, it's still wrong and you are being deceived. God's not against love, he's against the perversion of love.

I have been debating the question of late. I know what the bible says, that sex outside marriage is fornication, and thus wrong.
However when you love someone and are in a committed relationship (just serious dating, no engagements) is it then still a sin?
Because isn’t the act of having sex a sign of love between you and your partner.
Also one thing to consider is that women were property back in the bible times. And so the value of a virgin was really high. I know that to the bible it is fornication. But to me “fornication” is looking at pornography, having one night stands, viewing woman as objects instead of children of god, and allowing sex to rule your life instead of God.
Also sex back in the bible days was very risky (which is apart of the reasons I think that it said to abstain from it.) but today we have birth control, and condoms. Had we had those items back in the bible times would the people of that time view sex differently? Also in “Acts” God said to peter “do not call what I have created profane” God created sex. It was not a human creation. Sex is pleasurable, and why would God create some thing that feels good to be evil. I know some may say that sex is only for making babies. Which I will have to agree, however then again sex is one of the best feelings a person can have, and how can a feeling so good be a sin. When I have having sex with my GF I do not feel that it is a sin, it is an act of love I share with her…..I am wrong?

God is very clear on this topic. If fornication is done before marriage than it is sin period.
