  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Pr 6:

6 Go to the ant, O sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise. 7 Without having any chief, officer, or ruler, 8 she prepares her bread in summer and gathers her food in harvest. 9 How long will you lie there, O sluggard? When will you arise from your sleep? 10 A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest, 11and poverty will come upon you like a robber, and want like an armed man.
Being lazy and not working is not wise. It could be a sin. Work while you can. Ec 9:

10 Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might, for there is no work or thought or knowledge or wisdom in Sheol, to which you are going.
Pr 12 was getting more serious:

24 The hand of the diligent will rule, while the slothful will be put to forced labor.
Jeremiah was against procrastination in 48:

10a Cursed is he who does the work of the LORD with slackness.
When it comes to accepting Jesus, it is a really bad idea to delay the decision. James 4:

13 Listen, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money.” 14 Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes.
The Bible does not clearly spell out that procrastination is a sin. However, James 4:

17 Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin.
If your conscience convicts you, then it is a sin.

In any case, it is not wise to procrastinate, Proverbs 12:

Particularly, Jeremiah 48:

"Whatsoever is not of faith is sin"
