really, i dont see that as all too true, i love cstone as much any other person but htey can be lax at who they let in, there a few bands that i know of that have said that theyre no longer "Christian" bands ie mxpx, zao etc, but cstone still lets them play, i do believe that POD are Christians though, its just and argument that says that cstone only lets Christian bands play, just like its not just Christians that come to cstone year after year

you DO NOT have to be in a Christian band to play cornerstone!!!! Pedro the Lion is very open about not being a Christian artist and drops f bombs in interviews all the time. His last cd was very vulgar at times and even does comparisons of Jesus' return as to a girl having an [bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse]. he also talks and uses cum as a metaphor.

P.O.D. is Christian. I use the philosophy if their music is found at a Christian bookstore like a Parable Book Store or Lifeway their music is Christian music. They have also been put on different Christian Compilation CDs like the WOW 2001 CD, the Extreme Days Soundtrack. There are many bands out there that are Christian and still appeal to the secular crowd while few Christians know that they are Christian. Lifehouse is another band I first heard their music on MTV and VH1 and then at a Christian Bookstore I noticed that they have their CDs. But back to P.O.D. just look at some of thier lyrics.

I know POD are Christians and they are a christian band, and I beleive that there faith plays a big role in there music, they never came out and said they were not a christian band, they still want there music in christian book stores. There is a great artical on MTV check out the link on blephi115's site it is the one that says "P.O.D. talks to MTV about Christian faith"

I don't think that playing at Cornerstone sets in stone that a band is Christian.

If you're asking if POD is Christian, it depends what you think "Christian" music is? Is Christian music decidedly Christian because of the lyrics? Do the lyrics have to praise God, or do they have to make you think so that your level of living rises to the next level? Or does it matter about the people that sing it? "Boom" and "Youth of the Nation" don't really have any messages praising God or something directed towards Christians. In "Boom" (http://www.christianpunks.com/lyrics.php?albumid=2261#3) they talk about how they're gangster and whatnot. In "Youth of the Nation" (http://www.christianpunks.com/lyrics.php?albumid=2261#4), they portray a few stories that are very, very sad and violent. Almost 0 "Christian" content. But, as I said before, it all depends on what you think qualifies as Christian music.

If you look at the dedications in their cd covers, they definitely indicate God is important to them. I would say they are definitely Christian musicians. Now is the music "Christian Music"? WHo Cares, they give glory and praise to God and do the best to use the talents they were given by God.
