Deuteronomy is said to be written by Joshua after Moses passed away.
Commentary is biblical, some parts of the bible feature the author declaring their name, other parts no author is declared.
So either way seems "of the bible" in terms of what is asked.
In terms of what is implied, I'm not sure if it is ethical to place ministers on a pedestal since they're just regular people as well.
