Is Lost related to Fringe?

We didn't watch Fringe this year, but the other night, after American Idol, we kept it on for the heck of it, just to watch the season finale.

Anyone else see it?

Well, guess what?

From the same creators...we have a guy trying to "go through a loop-hole" (sound familiar???) to kill another guy.

What the ???

And...a lot of white at the end of that one too. There are other things that were very very similar to Lost...and I'd love your input if you're familiar with it at all.

I'm wondering if they are directly or loosely relating the 2 shows to each other somehow.

I am a Lostie and I enjoy Fringe alot. There are many people that are in Lost aswell as in Fringe also there are parts of it that I have noticed the same music or they sound very familiar that are used in both shows, I think it's a great show. I would think that Losties would enjoy Fringe, but then again it does go against personal opinion.

Fringe is a great show. J.J. Abrams, who created Lost, also created Fringe. Also, the guy who plays Matthew Abbadon in Lost is the boss in Fringe.

I've noticed some similarities too, but I think it's just J.J. Abrams' imagination starting down the same path but taking different forks in the road. Definitely try to catch the episodes online if they are available. It's worth the watch, very creepy, and probably my next favorite show after Lost right now.
