  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Of course frogs are sinners! Anything that lays about eating flies and making annoying croaking noises and have green slimy skin and hops around must be evil, I tells ya......

EVIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How do you know whether or not Kermit has been baptized? :) Miss Piggy too, for that matter. I think Miss Piggy may have socked Kermit into the baptismal basin a couple of times. :D

No no, see, frog puppets are born without original sin. They therefore don't have to be baptized!

What about Oscar the grouch?

This question had me really thinking. But now its clear to me that Oscar the grouch embraces one of the 7 deadly sins, the sin of wrath. Cookie Monster embraces the sin of gluttony.

I was suprised to find that Bert and Ernie are popular theological authors. Here is a sample of what they have written:

The Muppet-Driven Life.

Bert and Ernie's Very Basic Short ABC Picture Guide to the Scriptures (Abridged).

Wooden you Know: Picking Ms. Piggy's Brains.

Modalism, Apollonarianism, or Eutychianism: What is Elmo Really Laughing About?

The Large Yellow Walking Fellow: Is Big Bird saved?

Animals are sinless I believe.. Thats why the jews sacrificed goats..

They only sacrificed goats because they didn't have muppets back then...
