Is Jesus name a fraud?

I don't know who this "Yasha" is, but I know who Yeshua is.
He is the name above all names, the Alpha and the Omega, He is the Bright Morning Star, He is Counselor, He is Almighty God!!
And yes, He saves us from all things, even if we don't see it with our eyes.

Sheep is saying that our savior's name is not Jesus, which it wasn't as that was Greek and he was Jewish. Instead his name was Yeshua - like Joshua but there is no J in the Hebrew alphabet. Sheep is correct, but it's something that takes believing in a Jewish Messiah to understand. I know where he/she is coming from, but it's a bit esoteric to worry about a name when so many don't know that there's a Messiah in the first place.

The whole thing is a red herring argument and worthless. "Jesus" is merely the name "Yeshua" tranliterated into Greek and then translated into Latin and then the letters received a different pronunciation in English.

As anyone with a degree of common sense knows, names translated from one laguage to another often have to rely on approximate pronunciations as the sounds of one do not always have an exact corresponding sound in another. Originally the "J" sound was the sound we now associate with "Y" and the ending s was silent so the resulting name was pronounced something like "Ya-su". The reason for dropping the ending "a" sound was that in the Greek language this ending would denote a feminine and henc the "ua" became "us". In a similar fashion the name Jesus gave to Simon (Keypha) became Cephas. Also, when Keypha is translated into Greek rather than transliterated, the Greek word petra (for rock) is feminine so when applied to him it is Petros.

The OP has a bit of a problem in that the NT was written in Greek and hence the Greek words apparently met God's approval. There is also the issue that those who were calling on the name Yeshua apparently faded into oblivion so the origianl didn't do them much good. On the other hand, those who called on the name Jesus went on to evangelize much of the world. I think God is perfectly capable of understanding Greek, Hebrew, Aramaic, Latin, English, etc and doesn't need new pharisees to interpret it for Him.

In Hebrew Jesus' name is spelled as "Yeshua." The "Ye" in Yeshua is the abbreviated form of YHWH. "Shua" is from the Hebrew word for salvation, yasha. Jesus' name literally means "YHWH is salvation." The name "Jesus," then, actually contains the name "YHWH" in abbreviated form. While YHWH simply describes who God is, when it is combined with a verb it describes what God does. The name "Jesus" describes the fact that YHWH has become salvation. Who is Christ? He is YHWH, saving His people from their sins. If YHWH is not God's name, then Jesus' name becomes meaningless. To deny that God's name is YHWH is to ultimately deny the name of Jesus.

I am unhealthy; probably (may God forbid) I will die "young". If I reach 65 I will be happy.....

But the strange thing is that no matter how bad my health, I feel great. I have been a victim of crime (rapes), yet I feel great....

The healing might not be the way I want it to be......(would be cool though to wake up one morning with a healthy heart )...and yet I am free of fear. I sleep quite well, considering the past I am carrying and I feel safe. Jesus healed me, just not in a physical way but in a mental way..........I am proud of who I am....and believe me, three years ago I wanted to end my life.....

If that isn't healing I do not know what is!

The truth is that there are 7 Reasons why Yahshua or Jesus doesn't deliver the best results but Yasha' our Savior never lets you worry when you call:

1st Truth- Yasha' is the only Savior mentioned in the Bible who delivers whenever you call and Yahshuah is not

Evidence-Isa 63:8 For he said 0559 , Surely they [are] my people 05971, children 01121 [that] will not lie 08266 : so he was their Saviour 03467 .

6Therefore my people shall know my name: therefore they shall know in that day that I am he that doth speak: behold, it is I.

2nd Truth- There are no Results for finding Yahshua in the Bible but you can locate Yasha' your Savior at all times

4th Truth- Yahshua is a name that relates to Joshua but Acts 4:12 says no other man would ever have the Savior's salvation name, neither did the Hebrew people know His name as the Son until our Savior name was given to Yoceph and Mariam, his parents. The Savior's salvation name would be above every man name on earth which Joshua was a man on earth already in the OT, right?

12Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Philippians 2
9Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:

5th Truth- Would you rather risk leaving these critical matters up to amateur results, who just shout and are inexperienced as well as unorganized in preparing saints to get immediate results, or would you rather have an experienced professional committee, who puts all of their time and effort in organizing over 100,000 saints to obtain immediate results from Yasha'?

Evidence-Everybody who once called on Yahshua or other names are now seeing immediate results with the Hebrew Savior Yasha', and they also see true salvation from being set free from their sins, whereas their life has changed for the better. But the Devil will say this is a lie because he rather allow saints to suffer instead of encouraging us to have hope in our Savior Yasha'

6th Truth- No matter how well someone manipulates Yahshuah or Jesus into being a Savior, this name does not mean a Savior can bring you salvation like Yasha' which means Savior bringing you salvation and causing you to be free at all times

Evidence- 3467 yasha`causatively, to free or succor:--X at all, avenging, defend, deliver(-er), help, preserve, rescue, be safe, bring (having) salvation, save(-iour), get victory.

7th Truth- The devil doesn't want to see people delivered immediately, but rather see people suffer. So the sadist will do everything in their power to make himself sound wise instead of encouraging saints to get immediate results with Yasha'

Guess what? I'm included with the 100,000 other Christians who don't suffer from agony or worry anymore, because Yahsa' elimianted every negative thing in our life according to the Promise of His word:

I find it interesting that people think that there is some magical power in a word. Some of the entries here border on Gnostic magical superstition. Jesus has power because He is God, not because of how you spell or pronounce His name.

Sacred Name Worship - that's idolatry, mysheep.

In Luke 1:31, the Angel of the Lord comes to Mary and tells her what Jesus' name will be - you know the verse- "call his name Jesus". The Greek is ιησουν - which is pronounced ia-soon.

And besides, it sounds like a lot of people called Him "Christ".

This is rather silly.

Just worship Him - rejoice in Him - and don't allow yourself to become a tool of the evil one.
