Is It Wrong To Ask GOD For Financial Help Prepping?

Hello Sisters and Brothers In Christ Jesus; I want to ask GOD to get me free from this landlord and to financially be able to live and die in my own home and have land to grow my own food. How would you talk to Father about this , especially if Father was already providing for your most humble and modest needs everyday?

You can ask for your needs to be met and for wisdom to rightly steward the resources you do have, and for that wisdom to grow with additional blessings.

That wisdom is great to have when God starts blessing you materially. I don't know what your budgeting skills are, but there are Christian financial courses out there that teach you not only how to budget, but how to look at money with Biblical values. If you haven't taken a course like that, take one.

Were I in your spot, I would do two things:
First, if you have a local church, seek out a Real Estate agent, and also seek advice from the Social Services office.
If you are poor, there may be some financial aid that you could apply for, or even low cost housing available.
You don't know until you ask.
The Real Estate agent will know what homes are available, and could help you find a better place to live.
And lastly, your church members might know where you could earn extra money.
Your local Christians can be your eyes and ears in finding the help that you need.

If you are late in life, how can you work enough hours to afford and pay off a mortgage? The odds offered by the lottery are so bad, it is better not to gamble there. If you are a farmer, can you gain employment working someone else’s land? When I was homeless, I paid no rent. This was not good, as I was accused of trespassing and had to move to another location again. I was young and strengthened to work two jobs; 60 hours a week. I learned Jesus is not violent, but meek. Jesus is a servant. I prayed asking for more work to do. I bought a cheap studio apartment in 2001 in a high crime area where people were being killed by their neighbors. Now I own a home in a low crime area in a different state. Because Jesus taught “turning the other cheek,” this is not a war zone. Owning my own place is cheaper than paying rent. I am not a farmer, so I studied investments. Inflation will take away the value of money saved in a bank at zero percent interest. I am still trying to learn investment math and patience as I imagine my investment returns are too low, yet I have more than enough. I am thankful I am not homeless sleeping exposed to the biting insects or the frigid cold.

You might want to check out "The Encyclopedia of Country Living" by Carla Emery and info on Square foot gardening.. Your library might have these.

Also, there are about 9 states without state income tax plus 2 that don't tax wages. There are some places that their population has dropped so much that they guarantee free housing if u live there for a certain period of time. Or there's living off the grid.

Interested in non-traditional housing? - There's never been more options than now. Rammed earth, straw bale housing, yurts, converted airplanes, etc. State regulations of course would play a part in that.

Some places in the US are isolated. There are places that still use party line phone service. In another situation, someone cant get internet service even though their nearest neighbor has it. But there are benefits.

Do what you can now... we have a short time to prepare. I believe the real troubles will begin just after the next election - mid 2023.

Thank You everybody but there is nothing I can do. You see, I am very very poor and 67 years old. I have no friends or relatives alive to help me, no car, no extra money after bills are paid. I rent a cold uninsulated two room shack, apartment, and was just told I must move out because owner needs to sell it. I am devastated. I am done for because I could not prep. My four old rescue cats who came to my door for help , after being abandoned, will die. I have never thought about suicide, but am very close. Can someone help me by praying for me please? I am in a nightmare situation. I know a senior living all alone on the street can get shelter but my four little furry companions, who are my closest friends have nowhere to go to live safely without me, so, I will choose to stay with them until the end. God help us and prepare a place for us.

Its not wrong to ask our father to help us. Its not like you're asking for wealth, we all need security and he wants to bless us.
There may be a rescue organisation or even a vet who may help you find a place for your cats .

For your cats, look to online groups that find homes for pets. There may also be a no kill shelter near by.
For yourself, it is not legal for them to charge you rent for a cold, uninsulated shack. I know it's moot now that they are evicting you, but do not pay another dime for substandard housing. The office of aging should be able to help you find lodging, perhaps even one that allows cats.

Do your best to not lose hope. Your dire situation is not due to being unable to prep. There are many factors. Seek a church group that specializes in housing issues as soon as you are able, and continue praying. I know we all will be with you in your prayers.

First of all, the owner could sell it with you living there, because you are an asset! Your rent will be a source of income for the new owner!
Secondly, please check out Social Services in your town. They will know of available housing that is up to government standards.

It is possible that if you were to call a local animal shelter, they could help you find new homes for them, if you are unable to keep pets at your new place.
