I sort of predicted tablets and reading books downloaded to it in the 90s as there was already laptops but they cost several thousand dollars and I was thinking a $100 white screen computer that can read one page at a time could replace books one day. I've probably saved a fortune reading things online instead of buying books to learn. I've told dozens of people that are online that ask me questions how to use a search engine to get answers and often still do that because people don't take the time to learn how to simply type a question in the search bar and hit search button.I read ebooks because it seems easier to read than a big history book in my hands.
Well I'm not old school even though I'm old I'm not in schoolOne of my good friends still uses DVDs for her kids to watch.
I still own mine, but I don't use them ever. And I don't even think I have a DVD player anymore.
But, I don't see the problem with you using DVDs still. It's kind of refreshing when I meet people who still uses old-school items
I don't yet have a 4K bluray player but I have many movies that you have to PAY to watch streaming and I don't have to pay and can watch the movies any time. DVDs are good because I have portable dvd players when power goes out I can watch movies.I for one own an Ultra 4k Blu-ray for my 4k Tv. I like the fact I do not need internet or wifi to watch them. This form of entertaining comes in handy.
How about a compromise...... samurai music and classical filmsThis is my dream. A bunch of classical music and samurai films.
I could live with that. It wouldn't be as good as the opposite, but it would be a lot better than Netflix. How about a compromise...... samurai music and classical filme
I've never caught a flix in a netI could live with that. It wouldn't be as good as the opposite, but it would be a lot better than Netflix.
Once I got an MP3 player I put away CDs after ripping them. I don't have a lot of classical music on CD but do have some jazz music and a lot of other genres also.I really like smooth Jazz and Classical music Compact Discs. I am so old school that I like to listen to Sermons on CD's.
You mean in the 60s and 70s when there was no cable tv only local stations and half the time it was news ans soap operas so radio was #2 all around. I listened to a lot of radio growing up it all hit the high point when MTV was born and started going downwards when MTV decided is was eMpTy Very must of music hits.I sometimes feel like a 1930's-person because I still listen to baseball and music on the radio. I like this because it is free.
