I have posted this before on a different thread but seeking some fellowship and input. I will try my hardest to keep this thread introduction not so long for that seems to be the trend on here lol.
Myself I am 31 years old serving in the US Army and has been in the service for over ten years. I love God with all my heart I love serving his children, as well as serving with the youth ministry with a passion. I love hearing and spreading the Gospel with the youth as well as throwing down some sports as well. When the Youth Program started it was amazing the fire was hot, and we had our first meeting as members with the youth ministry on planning out events for the Kids as well as letting them vote on a name FUSION
.
The cross road I am sitting at I believe is lately there has been no more meetings only the one. And when I have brought it up to my pastor on when the next meeting is, I always get the we haven't decided yet but they have already had countless main board meetings more than the youth has ever had. I love my church family but my spirit has felt sad with feeling as if the youth has been put on the back burner, as in they are already canceling youth nights at church because of a guest speaker evening teaching, and I have also brought forth ideas that I would go and seek information at this camp site here at our base and if they were interested I could submit the information to the pastor for approval and dates for the kids to have the ability to go and fellowship and camp.
I posted the idea on the church social media page my good friend told me to text it in the group text with the youth team members. So all excited I texted it out and no responses not even from our pastor, So I am literally in a cross road my heart feels to leave it be and sit back and not say anything anymore about meetings, or even bring forth any ideas. I will pray and seek God for more advice but seeking if this is me or not?
