is it a sin downloading or streaming movies? is it a sin watching a youtube video with my favorite music? is it a sin to watch a movie scene in internet? i dont feel well. if i must give up those things how wil i pass my time? i have friends but i cant be with them all the time. plus not enough money to buy movies or music. so what should i do?

The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. Yahuweh (the Creator Almighty ) scheduled all of our lives before
the universe and world were created. In His Perfect Wisdom and Unlimited Knowledge,
He Always Knew and Always Knows what all of us everywhere are going through.
He provided ALL THAT IS NEEDED EXTRAVAGANTLY GENEROUSLY , for all time in this life, and in the next life (eternal life).
If we can find out from HIM, this is good.

Earlier this year I saw a video about Golden State which led to more videos. Because I hadn’t watched a game in years. That meant getting up to speed on the team. Becoming a Steph and KD fan. And watching games and commentary. So now I’m laughing at Stephen A, Skip & Shannon, and the comments from LeBron fans.
Was it sinful? No. Was it edifying? Not a chance. What made me stop? The media messages. They pushed a narrative I didn’t see in other sports. And I didn’t want that in my head.

It's a good sign that you're questioning these things. You're on the right path.
Is it a sin to watch movies and listen to music on the internet?
It depends what you watch and listen to. Do the lyrics in your music glorify God? Are they sinful? Are the movies you watch righteous?
What should you do to spend time?
The greatest commandment is, love God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength. This means God should be your priority. Spending time praying, reading His words, etc.
It's difficult in this age to spend time accordingly. We are conditioned to being a part of the world. When we listen to worldly music, watch worldly movies, we equally partake in the world and that is a sin.
Go spend your time helping someone. Volunteer somewhere. Give someone your time and effort who needs it, in the name of Jesus. There's many things to do, but it's hard to see them when our minds are clouded by the things of this world.
