Let's get this cleared up - the word theory was originally a scientific word appearing in English in late 15th century meaning "principles or methods of science or art". It was "hijacked" by the general population and gained it's colloquial meaning at a later date. Why was it necessary for Scientists to Hijack the word Theory and change the Definition to meet their beliefs, than just use the word Truth, because that is what you and every Scientist are saying Evolution is.....Truth.
I’m not responsible for your education.Didn't you say you wanted Scientific evidence in a Science debate?
If I have to keep reminding you what you said in your last post to me then we will be here all night.
I will ask questions you will teach my befuddled brain on the subject.

Haven't you heard? You have to either believe that God created the earth and every extant species in 6 literal days 6000 years ago, or else you're an atheist.
I’m not responsible for your education.
You know it is!
I went 20 years as a Christian thinking the Universe was old. (at least that's what Carl Sagan told me.)
Then I found out that YEC wasn't just some hyperfringe idea found in only backwater small towns that hadn't heard the word, and BOOM in just a few years the whole Christian edifice collapsed for me and here I am.
[Mostly kidding. Moving to a place with lot's of YECers did force me to challenge their theology relative to mine and that effort did play a small part in my deconversion.]
A little knowledge isn't helping you. Dig a little deeper and you'll find that "theorical" was used in late 15th century. You also haven't clarified which meaning the word had in 16th & 17th centuries.ORIGIN OF THEORY
1590–1600; < Late Latin theōria < Greek theōría a viewing, contemplating, equivalent to theōr(eîn) to view + -ia -y3
WORD ORIGIN FOR THEORY
C16: from Late Latin theōria, from Greek: a sight, from theōrein to gaze upon
OK if "You" say so, it must be true.
Just take some time and go look in the mirror, you were Created the way you look, sorry about that.
"Faith in the knowledge of Christians?" What does that mean? Or perhaps you are defining "Christian" as only those who agree with you about creation? That would exclude over two billion people who are devoutly convinced of their salvation in Christ.
I should hope you are sorry, since I asked for evidence and you give me argument from incredulity.
I have never been your teacher, you have to cure your ignorance yourself.OK, I will take that to mean, you will from this point on, not attempt to teach me where and how I am wrong about my view points on Evolution.
Thank you.
Your dismissed.
If everything you say you believed for 20 years was wrong, what is it then that makes you believe you did once believe the Truth of Salvation in order for you to claim to be a Christian in the first place.
If your Theology was so wrong, how could only the part that said you were Saved be the only part that was correct and true?
Oh, by the way, a person who has become Born Again can never become Unborn Again.
You can't lose or walk away from something you never had.
What a comeback! You truly are a giant among us, I feel honoured being adressed by your superior wit.-snip-
Watch out, I'm sure that sword of yours cuts both ways.
My parents, family, and congregation told me it was true and I trusted them.
I never said I was "Saved". I don't think I ever thought my salvation was already fixed, though I do think I was on the right path for salvation when it mattered. (You know, at death.)
That whole "Born again" business never made any sense to me. We didn't talk about it much. (There is, I think, some reference to it in the gospels, so it would come around every so often.) I sort of recall thinking that it might be at confirmation, you know taking the commitment pledge for myself instead of by proxy at baptism. But, I didn't feel anything special that night. (It was a rather boring and tedious ceremony.)
What a comeback! You truly are a giant among us, I feel honoured being adressed by your superior wit.
Don't think for a moment you are hurting my feelings because you didn't ever come to the truth of the Gospel because of the Church you belonged to.
I feel you never had a chance because of that very reason, and I don't blame you for the way you feel about Christianity today, you just need to know it's never to late, and it wasn't Christianity that failed you it was the Church organization to which you belonged that lied to you, and never could bring you to Salvation.
But that's ok the door will always be open for you, in Gods' time not ours.
Don't for a moment think I care about your feelings one way or the other. This conversation wasn't about your feelings or mine.
You don't know what I think about christianity? (Other than the obvious: "It is not true.")
Please stop criticizing my old church, they've got they're own problems. I don't think most of them lied to me. They told me the things that they honestly believed. I don't blame them at all for passing on the things they thought were true. It's not like they have a secret archive of "Things we tell the masses, but aren't really true."
I'm sure they disagree with you and your view of salvation anyway.
(And that's the key problem with the notion of "Christianity", there are so many versions of it that you can't even really refer to "
