But how about shooting or horror games? Aren't we attracting bad spirits by playing these games or implanting evil thoughts, pictures to our subconscious?
If it is something that offends your conscience, then you shouldn't play such games. But no, there's nothing wrong about playing shooters or horror games. Just as there's nothing wrong with reading books with violent or horror elements in them.
Don't do anything that offends your conscience, but also there's no universal rule or inherent bad about works of fiction. These are things that you, as an individual, can only decide for yourself.
Since it is a matter of conscience, not a matter of God's commandment, you need to listen to your own conscience on the matter and, at the same time, respect the conscience of others who may not feel the same way. So if such things offend you, don't play them, but this is a personal choice for yourself and must be understood as such.
In the same way that someone whose conscience is bothered by eating meat, should not eat meat so as to not offend their conscience--but should not judge others who do eat meat. Whatever you do in accordance with your conscience, do so honoring God. That means listening to your conscience and also respecting the conscience of others who may not be offended by the same things you are.
There is a difference between God's Law and Command and what is a matter of individual conscience. Confusing these is where the grave error of moralism happens. And moralism is simply legalism's equally wicked cousin.
