A while back I was seriously considering that college and I have nothing but nice words about the policies and the people and it's academic programmes. I highly recommend it. A friend of mine might actually be going there this Fall, she doesn't really know though if she's called there or not. Anyways...yeah great college...not all TOO strict concerning Christian colleges though.

In Christ,

I go to toccoa. I will be a senior this fall (a year and a half left woo hoo!) Anyway, the rules are kind of strict, but not as bad as most. We can wear jeans and t-shirts to class, shorts cannot be worn Sunday afternoons, and weekday breakfast and lunch. Cerfew is 12am on weekdays and 1am on Friday and Saturday. But there is a thing called a special event pass if you want to stay out later for like a concert or ball game. Girls have to dress modestly (I am thankful for this one). We have chapel Monday-Wednesday and Barnabus Groups (small groups) on Thursdays at ten, we get 11 cuts, any after that equals a penalty of $10 a cut. We have room check once a week, it's never that bad, depending on your RA. Those are the top areas that people get frustrated with. It's really not bad at...

I went there for four year, I do not reccomend it.

But if you do go there, take Dr. Everaitt Classes, Dr. Jalovick, Dr. Williams, Dr. Hildenbrand and Prof Collier I recommend no one else, for I have not experience many others. These are the best profs at the school. (bible and theology).

I do not reccomend Dr Wetmore and Dr. Shelton.

I almost lost my faith there. Chapel is the worse part of the school, you will find some of the most annoying people speaking during chapel.

I've also been thinking about Toccoa, I know a couple of people that went there and they have nothing but good things to say about it.

Right now it's my second choice for a school to transfer too (might as well be my first, as my real first choice is pretty much impossible).

Anyone who went there : how is the education program?

at TFC?

depends on what you want to study?

I know the history prof there and he is very good, one of the best.

Bible and theology: depends, Old Testament has some very good teachers.
New Testament (i only know of one of them and he was very good)
I heard education is very good an so is Psychology.

So Education when i was there was very good, taught by people who like to teach.

My problem with the school is the enviorment, especially to those who live off campus (which i did), the contradictions of speakers in chapel, the music in chapel i found to be horrible (but i don't like christian worship). I found it to be very hard to make friends there so bring a very good friend and guard your beliefs you maybe on of the few who lose it there.

beyound that you should like it.
