I stopped receiving Christmas e-mails from her, and when I tried finding her on-line, I realized her husband had died. Does anyone still have her contact info?

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Quitting CF is one thing. Quitting personal emails is another. She isn't young. That makes me worry.

She was my age (67). We were as different as night and day but I still felt a connection to her. When she left I assumed she was grieving her husband's death, but I hope she has found some peace and is doing well.

I know her name and where abouts and she emailed last year to add to FB...
But i didnt see her email.
Yes, i am a terrible person... and its not that i dont want to stay in touch with ppl... i'm just busy...A LOT!
I work...had my own issues etc.
But i'm terrible...i know this.
So i requested in FB... and will see if she responds.
