Irratic Emotions

I have been in therapy for fifteen years for a personality disorder. I have been on medication for almost that long. Lately, I have been experiencing a lot of emotional stuff in my life and trying to deal with all of it sanely and rationally. BUT, I have been just weepy and crying for the past week. I need prayer. I am waiting to talk to a doctor about adjusting my medication. Please pray I am able to get stable again.

and may i give you some hope and encouragement? Good job for you to recognized your meds may need changing! and for recognizing the other signs. honey we all heal at a different pace.. but i see healing.
i know from the decription of your stuggles this is overwelming.... during the rushed and confused thinking: you are in inside the mighty grace and love of Christ. just know that He will bring you out of it, and you will be drawn closer to Him. everything will be ok!

Thanks for the support. I was really upset last week. My psychiatrist was not available and the oncall doc did not return my calls for two days. By that time, my own shrink was back. He increased my medication.

If you don't mind my asking, what personality disorder do you have? I have major depressive disorder, dysthymia, and anxiety disorder... all no fun. My recent meds were giving me side effects similar to that of bipolar mixed episodes, too... evil!!

In addition to Bulimia/Eating disorder NOS, (my therapist and I argue over this diagnosis on a regular basis), Major Depressive Episode, Severe, I have Borderline Personality Disorder. What makes it worse is I am in grad school, studying all this and wondering if I am fit to do therapy with people when I am so depressed sometimes. I don't act out much anymore. When I do my therapist gives me a lecture like I have never had before.
