Hello,

The short version.
This is an invitation to tkster for a debate. If he refuses or doesn't reply this is also open to any other creationist that would like to debate. This is partly directed towards tkster because he seems to like challenging people to debate with Hovind, and has made quite a few claims on the forums so I thought I would invite him to a debate first.

The terms are pretty fluid, the topic can be pretty much anything related to the overall debate, such as the age of the earth, the validity of theory of evolution, the validity of creationism, etc. To of course be decided upon before the debate. Possibly with a short format such as opening statements, two rebuttals, and closing statements. To take place in the GA debate forum. Again all of this is fluid and I'm open to change.

Reply to this or PM me to accept and work out the details or to decline the invitation.

The longer version (also known as the addition to the short version).
I'm slowly growing tired going around in circles refuting the same things that were refuted only a couple posts ago, only to have them ignored, and listening to the same empty claims over and over again without any support. I've been considering putting the Creation vs Evolution debate on the back burner for awhile, and thought that a debate might be fun before I do (although I don't promise that I'm any good :) ). A debate supports the ideas of backing up statements, and not running away from the discussion.

Can someone post this or a link to this in the Christians only section, since that appears to be where many of the creationists (including tkster) are staying, and I can't post there myself.

-Ari

i will debate theistic evolution with you if tk doesnt end up responding. even though i believe in creation, i can see the validity of theistic evolution, but i will debate it nonetheless because debate, my friend, is a great art.

So, good friend, If his forums were open to view without an account I would be willing to debate him there (as long as I was allowed to post, and he was fair).
Hmm, or maybe I could talk an admin into unbanning him for the duration of the debate.

i don't know, but too many atheists started names with F christians and stuff, so he changed the rule and now won't let atheists there. that's what happens when a few people act irresponsible. but he is debating that one evolutionist right now.

Now is that really a reason to ban all atheists?
If mormons started making names like "F catholics" on CF, should CF ban all mormons?

Which one evolutionist?

Maybe you can pass along my invitation anyway.

Bright: I might debate you, eitherway this turns out. :)

no no, they spelled it out. and one guy put a quote with all kinds of profane hate against christians. yeah, there was about six of them as i was told. i saw the two guys, pretty bad.

anyhow, kev will be more likely to be interested as tk does live debates as he told me. kev is his right hand internet man as well as jimi

Sorry to mistake you...
No, I actually tried to come in and just debate, but since he saw me here, he banned me automatically (if you check he cites forum rule one as his reason). i'm an agnostic, and like most athiests/agnostics here, usually polite to believers. only if they are polite to me though.... :)
