  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Do you mean 12:30 as in just after noon, or just after midnight?

If you mean just after midnight, then the time wouldn't bother me, since I usually stay up til 1 or 2. But on the same token, I'm usually wrapped up in doing something online at the time, so I usually don't catch it. Besides, I'd rather watch it on DVD.

It's on in the evening, so unless she lives in China or somewhere over there, she probably means 30 minutes after midnight.

Yep. DVDs rule. I only wish they would put more than 3 episodes per disc. I mean the series is at least 150 episodes long. (I searched LimeWire for InuYasha music vids and i remember seeing "InuYasha - 152")

Speaking of which, exactly how long is InuYahsa? Has it been completed or is it still ongoing?

Yeah, I know it's on at night where I am, but in another thread she said she lives in Japan, so I wanted to get that clarified, seeing as how she said 12:30 PM, not 12:30 AM.

It's still on, I think. It might have only one season left though (and who really knows when it comes to seasons in Japan? The series run year-round). There are three movies, but only two have been released (once again, in Japan). At least, I haven't heard anything about the third being released yet, so I'm assuming it hasn't been. I think Takahashi has also decided to stop the manga as well, considering it's been running since '96 (which means that the series would have a lot more to pull from, but probably won't).

Okay. I didn't mean to argue about the 12:30 thing. I probably shouldnt have said anything about it in the first place. Too late now, eh?

Thanks for the info. Do you have any idea what episode its up too or how many volumes of manga there are?

I have absolutely no idea. Last time I checked, the episodes were in the 140 range (in Japanese, the English is only into the 3rd season I think, out of the 5 or 6 that there are), but as for the manga, I've no clue whatsoever.

Ranma ½ ran in Shounen Sunday from '87 to around '94 or '95, and there's some 38 or so volumes of that (and still getting translated into English, I might add), so I could only guess InuYasha has around the same number, since it's been around for eight years in Japan so far. The translation to English won't stop for probably four years after it stops running in Japan, given how Viz works to get it's manga out (over a year and a half between Eva vol.7 and vol.8, for example). Add in the second editions that Viz is starting to put out now, and InuYasha's not going to reach it's end in English for a long time.

what Christian meaning?
Seriously...

Well, it does have alot of Buddhism in it, and some Buddhist principles are similar to Christian principles.

I guess I could understand the confusion.
