I love photography, always had a passion for it. I would love to obtain a nice camera to take pictures, perferably and a professional one. I have been into digital photography since early May when I got my camera! I love taking pictures...it is mainly a hobby now, but I hope to be able to sell some of my pictures as well... I have taken a bit over 1000 pictures so I am beginning to get good, but I have a LONG ways to go!

G'day, my name's Dave from Australia, and I've been into photography for about 5 years now... I never had a camera as a kid, and I hated taking photos for some reason... I'm trying to go semi-professional... I take a lot of incidental photos of things I find around my house/farm. I'm trying to get little bits of better equipment to fill the gap until I can afford a DSLR... I mostly do it for fun at the moment though, and take photos of things I consider fun, and beautiful.

Been into photography for a long long time but only really gotten to do more of it since I took a course on it in college. Since then, I take pictures whenever I'm able. In a few weeks I'm actually intending to do some promo photography for a friend's band, in returning the favour for him recording my voice demo today

Photography is just a hobby right now, but certainly one I'm very passionate about. I attend airshows throughout the summer (lol usually only 2... 3 at max per summer up here.) and enjoy photographing/video taping the demonstrations. I use a 35mm Cannon my Dad has with a 200mm telephoto for all the jet displays, and use my sisters Olympus digital camera for everything else.

Last summer my girlfriend and I took nearly 300 photos at one airshow alone. (4 days worth) 90% of the pictures were of the Blue Angels alone. My sister and I have been doing this for about 6 years now, and my girlfriend has been taking her fare share the last couple as well! (I trade on and off between still photography and video taping the displays... it's fun to do both.)

One thing I love bout photography is how much the photographer comes through. Although all 300 of those pictures are of "the same thing" I still know who took what simply because of composition and what it is focusing on. I love zooming in as much as possible... I'd like to be able to read the words on the cockpit if I had a good enough camera! Whereas my sister and girlfriend enjoy "setting up" the picture with a nice background.

Anyway, I started typing too much again. haha

Right now, photography is a pretty serious hobby for me. I have a degree in photojournalism and did my time in newspaper shooting all kinds of stuff, but I set the camera down (professionally, at least) many moons ago.

My wife and I are working on launching an artistic photo business so she can be a stay-at-home-mom to our son, Lucas.

I LOVE photography!!! It has been a serious hobby for many years!!! I do sittings (child, senior, engagement) and have done several weddings. I JUST got all signed up to start school for Professional Photography AAS & I start Aug. 22nd. I am so excited. God has opened all the doors for me to go & I really want to glorify him in my Photography business!!!

On forums I'm always known as Faith or TBF because of my screen name. I'm a newbie with photography because I only received my first digital camera May earlier this year. Ever since I've been having an absolute blast taking photo after photo.

Photo taking has been a hobby for about 10 years, but I have recently moved into the professional spectrum, mostly because my experience with live broadcast television. I love taking pictures, I take mostly weddings and sports for the news, but I also do portraits and large landscapes as well.

Photography is pretty big for me. I'm no pro or anything but I want to go to college and major in art with a concentration in Photography. I've been doing photography for about four years now I started on a middle/high school newspaper. I do some photography for my youth group and I want to be the photographer for my church, but we already have a great one. I have a Nikon N 55 which is alright for now. I recently got to have my first darkroom experience this summer which was awesome. I had never developed my own pictures before. Now I love photography even more! I'm trying to find a way to glorify God through my photography in a career

I bought an SLR camera this past winter. I had no idea I'd enjoy taking pictures with it so much. A new hobby was born.

I got my first digital camera for my 12th birthday and I loved taking pictures of all kinds of things with. Soon I started to read books and learn all I could about photography.

A little side note:The following Christmas I got telescope but it didn't work too well so me took it back and I got photoshop instead!! I also love working with photoshop and if anybody needs an avatar or something I'll glading do it!

As I learned more and more I wanted a camera with more creative freedom, since the one I had was all most completely automatic and only had 1 MP. My parents said I would have to buy a new camera myself because it was so expense, so I started saving... and saving... and well... SAVING!!! I didn't know what camera I wanted, I was just saving and looking for a good deal. Then I found the one I wanted!! Canon PowerShot Pro1!!! It was over $800. Mom? Dad? Well they said to keep saving so I did.

Christmas of 2004 I got a gift that was too good to be true! I opened the box and I can remeber exactly what I said,"It's the... it's the... CAMERA I WANTED!!!!" Yes siree, I got the CANON POWERSHOT PRO1!!!! *cool echoy sound*

Well now I hope to go pro, and some other job with computers to keep the bills paid.
