  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hi everybody, I'm Tameka form Jamaica. I joined Cf about 2 years ago but i haven't been here for months (almost a year) . Anyways, I hope get a chance to meet people with great personalities; the last time i was here CF was fun

Hi I am Michelle from Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. I am studying Childcare and working casually though really hope to get a full time job soon. I am into crafty things - can knit, sew, crochet and make jewellery. I am also involved in my local church teaching sunday school and hopefully start helping another group after school once i get my job situation sorted out. I am also starting to learn to drive (again!) as i never really got into it before and had an older brother to drive me everywhere! But now id really like to be able to drive and have my indepence!! I joined this forum to make new friends. So look forward to getting to know you all.

Hi folks, I'm Catherine (or Cat), I'm 21 and I'm from England. I'm a politics student in my final year at university, hoping to be a journalist or perhaps a teacher. I love music, movies, books, socialising with my great bunch of friends, and sports. My favourite musicians and bands are Dusty Springfield, Blondie, Fleetwood Mac, Prince, Stevie Wonder, Bruce Springsteen... yep I'm quite into the oldies! I love football (soccer) and rugby league, my favourite teams being Manchester United FC and Wigan Warriors RLFC respectively.
