  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Greetings,

    I'm new here. :p Been taking a look around, you seem to have some interesting discussions going on so I think I'll take off my coat, have a seat and pour myself a cup of coffee.

    A little about myself: I am a father of two (15year old and 18months.)  I am a Unitarian Universalist and Pagan with a Wiccan background.  I've been in the Army for 20 years now and I'm looking forward to retirement in May.  Keep your fingers crossed and pray for peace.  :pray:

I've met him, were cool.  I'm still a huge fan of the sermon on the mount, as you sow so shall you reap.  On the other hand, I don't belive it is possible to be seperated from Divinity (sin) since I percieve Divinity to be everywhere and in all things.  :holy:
