"For I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from his love. Death can't, and life can't. The angels won't, and all the powers of hell itself cannot keep God's love away. Our fears for today, our worries about tomorrow, or where we are --high above the sky, or in the deepest ocean-- nothing will ever be able to separate us from the love of God demonstrated by our Lord Jesus Christ when he died for us." Romans 8:38-39 Yesterday is gone, tomorrow has not arrived. Today is ours.

One characteristic of illness is its demoralizing effect upon our thinking. We fall easy victims to fears and worries about tomorrow --our unknown future. Tomorrow for the child of God loses it's ability to cause us worry when we realize our future is fully known by God. This is true security.

He is a God of perfect love. He loves you and has placed his love within you by His Spirit. He is a part of your past, your present and also your future. He created you, He knows how you feel, what your concerns are today for He came and lived in a human body like ours that He might enter into our experiences. He now strengthens and comforts us by His Presence within us. His words spoken while He was here speak to our hearts today. "So don't be anxious about tomorrow. God will take care of your tomorrow too. Live one day at a time." Matthew 6:34

Tomorrow is in God's hand. He will never leave us or forsake us, therefore nothing can ever separate us from His love. He was forsaken by His Father to bear our sin so we might never be left alone. Consequently, we can look forward to our irresistible future with the Living Christ. "That is why we never give up. Though our bodies are dying, our inner strength in the Lord is growing every day. These troubles and sufferings of ours are, after all, quite small and won't last very long. Yet this short time of distress will result in God's richest blessing upon us forever and ever! So we do not look at what we can see right now, the troubles all around us, but we look forward to the joys in heaven which we have not yet seen. The troubles will soon be over, but the joys to come will last forever." II Corinthians 4:16-18

"Not one sparrow (What do they cost? Two for a penny?) can fall to the ground without your Father knowing it. So don't worry! You are more valuable to Him than many sparrows." Matt. 10:29-31

Thank you, it is good to remember the promises of God, so we can stand on them, we all face trials, and tribulations, and sometimes it is so difficult to imagine that one day this will all be over, and we can be with Him forever. I can't wait.
Thanks
B
