I really like the line "reaches to hold the man hanging around her neck"...it reminds me of times when I've faced difficult decisions in the past and tugged at the cross that I wear as I thought about them. On a completely unrelated note...I recognize you from interference

Lol...I see we have another rabid U2 fan here on CF-that's wonderful! Yeah, well as you well know I try to put some Biblical imagery in my poem/songwriting even when talking about life situations. Not as good as my beloved Bono, but I try I've found that The Message by Eugene Peterson really is effective in using it for creative purposes...no surprise the B-man uses it (every poet is a thief ya know ) What's your screename on Interference?
