What is Intelligence Quotient? Is it the same as a person's weight?

That's an old-school method of calculating IQ. When it was used, it was only valid up to a physical age of 16yo.It's your intelligence age / your actual age. If you have a 100 IQ, you're exactly as smart as you should be for how old you are. How well it describes intelligence is highly debatable, but that's how it works.
130 is the minimum requirement for Mensa. It is based on a bell curve/mathematical concept known as a standard deviation. The modern s.d. = 15 points.For most though, 130 or higher is genius.

IQ starts on the low end of the scale when a person is smart enough to use a toilet. It ends at the high end of the scale when they are too smart to be able to tie their shoes. Ie the absent minded professor is so lost in thought that they can not function in a normal way. (Einstein Syndrome: The mind is so involved in one area of thinking that they neglect some more basic areas of thinking.) It does not help that we live in a day and age of high specialization and individualized learning and people tend not to get a well rounded education and understanding.What is Intelligence Quotient? It depends on where they are tested. Medical test results are part of your medical record, like your other stats. Non-medical test results, like Mensa, might be kept by the providing organization (for eligibility purposes).Who archives official IQ scores?
