INSTRUCTIVE COMPARISONS #3

Romans 2:4... do you despise the riches of His goodness, forbearance, and longsuffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance?
1 Timothy 2:1-4. I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
2 Peter 2:1... But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction.
2 Peter 3:9... The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.
There is much to be gained from these Scriptures in understanding the love of our Wonderful Saviour for all, including the false teachers whom He bought and paid for with His precious blood shed on Calvarys Cross, but who nevertheless reject that love and are headed for destruction. But the primary point here is to show that there is no difference between what Paul spoke/taught/wrote, and what Peter spoke/taught/wrote in reference to many foundational doctrines of the faith.

If it will get you to looking at the REAL issue of the verse, which is that there ARE indeed TWO separate gospels...then it has achieved its purpose.
